This project required an emphasis on developing a robust community of microbes to begin the soil repair mechanisms. The old paddock exhibited the hallmarks of a very tired, and underwhelming soil. We were hired to support with the design and implementation of a bed system to cultivate annual vegetables.  The project demanded an input heavy approach. We crafted on site 20 cubic metres of high quality compost (microbial biomass in excess of 1500 μg microbial carbon/gram, together with a fungal rich Compost Extract, also produced on site. The project took place in 2019, with the beds still highly productive to date.
